Instructions for Oral Presentation

We will provide laptop computers (PC and MAC) for use in presenting PowerPoint slides, videos, and audio files. We kindly ask that you use the laptops that we provide, and not your personal laptops, unless you have a specific need to do so.

Please use PowerPoint to make your slides and bring your presentations on a USB memory drive. We will assist you in uploading the presentation on one of our computers during the half-hour break (coffee, lunch) closest to the beginning of your session. The specific details regarding the equipment and software available will be posted soon. Please, check back.

The above preparation guidelines are intended to make the flow of presentations as smooth as possible. The organizers deeply appreciate your cooperation.

The invited symposia session will include a five-minute introduction and three fifteen-minute talks, each followed by 5 minutes of questions. The open forums will include 4 fifteen-minute talks, each followed by 5 minutes of questions.

Instructions for Poster Presentation

There will be three formal poster sessions, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. Your poster(s) will be assigned to one of the sessions (please check the program). Poster may be hung at any time on your presentation day prior to the start of the poster session. Please, remove your poster on the same day, no later than 6:00PM.

There will be a poster board for each poster. Please use the poster board(s) with a label for your specific poster. Each poster board is 100 cm (39 inch) high × 190 cm (74 inch) wide. You are free to use all or part of this space. Pushpins will be provided.

During the formal sessions, it is expected that at least one author from each poster will be present, for the duration of the session, to present the poster.
